Welcome To My Counseling Blog!

I am a licensed pastoral psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience in the Nashua, NH area. I am the President and Founder of the Emmaus Institute, Inc. The Emmaus Institute, Inc. is a non-profit organization offering clinically trained, spiritually based counseling education and consultation. I have formed partnerships with other local ecumenical and community organizations such as the Nashua Interfaith Council, Souhegan Valley Interfaith Council, Southern NH Medical Center, St. Joseph's Medical Center, The Nashua Parole and Probation Office of the NH Department of Corrections, Bethany Christian Services Foster and Adoption Care Program, and Parkland Oncology.

Send your thoughts

My Blog is an effort to continue and to expand these partnerships via this new mode of social networking. Send in your thoughts and websites to share.

It is my hope that we can begin social networking via this Blog on the merits of the interconnectedness among the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions. This interconnectedness directly impacts mental and physical health. These at present are my thoughts that soon will be shaped by those of you who share your resources, thoughts, questions and opinions.

As a licensed pastoral psychotherapist, I am a Fellow level member of The American Association of Pastoral Counselors (AAPC). The AAPC website http://www.aapc.org will give you more information about pastoral psychotherapy.

The website posts articles about the practice such as the Washington Post article entitled, Help From Above, by Alison Buckholtz. I recommend you read this article whether you are a pastor or lay person to gain insight about pastoral psychotherapy.

I also invite you to visit the Emmaus Institute website http://www.emmausinstituteinc.org for more information about the Emmaus Institute.

Looking forward to hearing from you,
